STOP SERVING BY: STEPHANIE RAMOS SOTO

” BOOM” SUGAR BOMB

I think that schools should stop serving chocolate milk because it is too unhealthy and also sugary, it contains high cholesterol and saturated fat, and lastly, it can cause obesity and diabetes.

one reason why schools should stop serving chocolate milk is because chocolate milk is unhealthy and too sugary. according to the text it said,” chocolate milk has a sky-high sugar content.” this makes me think that chocolate milk is very unhealthy and also too sugary.

Another reason why schools should stop serving chocolate milk is because chocolate milk has a very high cholesterol and saturated fat. According to the text it said,” These experts say that chocolate milk is high in cholesterol and saturated fat.” Cholesterol is bad for you because all of the cholesterol goes to your blood and saturated fat goes to your heart and your body can get damaged. this makes me think that chocolate milk has too much cholesterol and saturated fat.

Lastly why schools should stop serving chocolate milk is because chocolate milk can cause obesity and diabetes. obesity and diabetes are both a disease. According to the text it said,” in short term, high levels of cholesterol and saturated fat can lead to obesity and diabetes, PETA says.”  article,” SUGARY DRINKS CAN BE UNHEALTHY, BUT IS COW’S MILK UNHEALTHY TOO?”

In conclusion, people say and think that chocolate milk is healthy, but actually chocolate milk can cause many things to you, you can get health problems. It has happened to a lot of people. Clearly, chocolate milk should be taken off the menu!!
