Imagine a world controlled by one person who makes the choices for you. In Jonas’s world, there is no choice of life.
First, in our world we can decide when or where to do things we want. For example, we can decide when to ride
our bicycle. My uncle’s wife is 20 something and she doesn’t know how to ride a bike, but really wants to learn now.
Second, we can choose who to marry or fall in love with. Barack Obama didn’t marry Michelle Obama because
he was forced, he married her because he fell in love with her, and decided to make her his wife.
Lastly, we can keep our feelings to ourselves. For example, I don’t like to stand infront of a lot of people and
start talking to them. I only talk to only about 2 or 3 people at once.
Therefore, I don’t think it’s ok for you to move to Jonas’s world. Would you like to live in a community with really
strict rules? Or marry someone you don’t love?
Sincerely, Mariana Sanabria CU
